Karla-Miranda

Join host Tamra Fatemi-Badi as she welcomes Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow Karla Miranda to the World Kitchen. Karla will share a very traditional Costa Rican meal called Pinto Gallo.

Karla Miranda is a professor in the Business Administration program at the National University of Costa Rica. She teaches undergraduate courses on Marketing, New Ventures and Growth, and Internships. She has served in the Public University for more than 20 years in projects and training for community programs in Costa Rica.

Karla is currently a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow at Penn State University, where she hopes to learn best practices in higher education that improve innovation and entrepreneurship, and encourage small business growth. She wants to promote the professional growth of young people in Costa Rica and to inspire her students to find an opportunity to change their lives through education.
