Beetles, butterflies & the science of bugs at the Frost Entomological Museum

Preserved butterflies and moths in a museum display.

Beetles, butterflies and insects of all sorts are on display at the Frost Entomology Museum at Penn State University. As curator Laura Porturas explains, entomology is the study of insects and their relatives, and the museum tells the story of insect life with exhibits on topics like honey bees, the spotted lantern fly, the work of entomologists and the amazing variety of insects living in Pennsylvania.
