Guest Chef Luciana Alvarez shares recipes from her native Venezuela including Arepas and Pabellon Venezolano.
Luciana grew up in a small city called Los Teques, near Caracas, the capital city of Venezuela. Her family is spread across the country, so it was common for her to travel around and see the different foods from each region. Luciana tells us that Venezuela is a beautiful country with many influences from its colonial history, to past immigrants like Italians, Germans, and Portuguese. It has colorful Caribbean beaches and people that are always open to visitors.
