Steve Ditko is one of the most important and influential creators in comic book history. His best-known character is the Amazing Spider-Man, co-created with Stan Lee. His other creations include Dr. Strange and Iron Man’s iconic red and gold armor suit. Ditko was born and raised in Johnstown, and recently, the Bottle Works Ethnic Arts Center decided it was time to honor their hometown hero with a public art project.
