Join World Kitchen host Tamra Fatemi-Badi as she welcomes Alexandra Faille into the World Kitchen for a workshop featuring Chilean food and culture. The menu will feature two delicious and traditional Chilean dishes.
Alexandra Faille is a designer with a diploma in Strategic Communications and Marketing and a Master’s in International Relations. With over 20 years of experience in higher technical education, she has worked at Duoc UC, a Chilean University, as a teacher and for the past decade has led international quality assurance processes through NASAD in the U.S. Her focus has been on developing internationalization opportunities for students and faculty, as well as fostering collaborative initiatives and community engagement.
As the Academic Director of Chile Diseño A.G. for 2023-2024, Alexandra is committed to elevating the standards and visibility of the design discipline, while strengthening connections between industry and academia.
Alexandra is honored to be a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow (Fulbright Exchange) at Penn State University for the 2024-2025 academic year. Based in Viña del Mar, Chile, she is married and a mother of two. Alexandra enjoys being outdoors, reading, traveling, and cooking—especially baking—while sharing these experiences with family and friends.
