Digging Deeper: Evaluating Mental Health on Campus

The number of students seeking assistance through Penn State’s Counseling and Psychological Services, or CAPS, has increased 32 percent in the past five years. To address this growing need for support, CAPS is implementing a new embedded counselor program, made possible through student and parent philanthropy.

Join Penn State President Eric Barron and guests Dennis Heitzmann, senior director of Counseling and Psychological Services, Ramon Guzman, Jr., executive director of the 2016 Class Gift Campaign, and Rod Kirsch, senior vice president for Development and Alumni Relations and Penn State parent, as they discuss mental health on campus.
