2D Tech

Penn State student standing in front of specrometer

Take a look at the latest advances in the science of 2D technology coming from Penn State University. At the Material Research Institute (mri.psu.edu) scientists are experimenting with graphene, a 2D material being created at the atomic level. Graphene may replace silicone as the base component for microchips, which could make computers and other electronic devices 100 times faster than they are today.
