Conversations Live: Opioid Crisis in Pennsylvania

Drug overdoses in Pennsylvania started to spike in 2011. In 2016, more than forty-five hundred people in the Commonwealth died from drug overdoses, which amounts to 13 deaths every day. We explore the human impact of this epidemic by talking to guests who have been personally affected by addiction. We’ll also talk about Pennsylvania’s $20 million effort to address the state’s opioid epidemic.
