From American Masters, the PBS award-winning biography series that celebrates our arts and culture, we present the broadcast premiere of award-winning filmmaker Stanley Nelson’s deep dive into the world of a beloved musical giant. American Masters — Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool,  part of our Black History Month special programming.

A visionary known for his restless aesthetic, Davis is widely regarded as one of the most innovative, influential and respected figures in music. With full access to the Miles Davis Estate, the film features never-before-seen footage, including studio outtakes from his recording sessions, rare photos and new interviews.


Midsomer Murders – WPSU Series Premiere! – Saturday, February 29 at 8:00pm

In MIDSOMER MURDERS, the town of Causton’s detective chief investigator John Barnaby and his detective sergeant Benjamin Jones investigate the scandals and deadly deeds that lurk just beneath the well-manicured surface of the seemingly idyllic county of Midsomer.  The series is bolstered by a rotating cast of investigators and many celebrity appearances.

Coming to WPSU from the BBC is a magical new series that will change the way we look at farm animals forever. Meet the sheep who thinks he’s a dog, the lonely goose who’s in love with his own reflection and the cows who love music. Each episode is set against the backdrop of a farming season and follows the birth and development of one animal character – a lamb, a calf and a piglet. Along the way the series meets a whole supporting cast of animals – from harvest mice to ducklings.
