“Speaking Grief” Screening Event
In-Person Event
Wednesday, September 4, at 7:00 p.m.
Outreach Innovation Building Lobby
100 Innovation Blvd, State College, PA 16802
We’ve been taught that grief is taboo and that talking about it should be avoided at all costs. This outlook can create unnecessary pain and isolation. The reality is that grief is a healthy, natural, and universal experience with enormous potential for meaningful connection. The documentary Speaking Grief explores how we can create a more grief-aware society by validating the experience of grievers and offering guidance to those who wish to support them.
WPSU invites you to join Lindsey Whissel Fenton, creator of Speaking Grief and Learning Grief, along with a panel of community experts about how we can get better at grief. Learn more at speakinggrief.org.
Parking at the Outreach Innovation Building is free.
