Remembering climate science pioneer and Penn State graduate, Warren M. Washington
Warren M. Washington, a climate science pioneer and Penn State alumnus, died on Oct. 18, 2024 at the age of 88. He graduated with his doctorate in meteorology from Penn State in 1964 and was the second African American in the United States to earn a doctorate in meteorology.
