Wild Kratts: Creepy Creatures
The Kratt Brothers uncover some of the creepiest creature powers on the planet in this special featuring a giant spider and vampire bats.
One-hour special, Monday, October 22
When your family makes a gift of $6 per month, we’ll send to you, as our thanks, a backpack full of materials that your family can use with WPSU’s virtual summer camp!
Your gift will help to make educational children’s programming possible for all of our friends across the WPSU viewing area.
This pledge premium is a backpack with 8 weeks of themed activities and some basic summer supplies like pencils, kids’ scissors, glue sticks, construction paper, and journals. Each week’s WPSU Virtual Summer Camp with Kate will feature a lesson on that week’s theme, an activity related to that theme, and links to PBS KIDS games, pages, and videos. Weekly themed activities will include making a bird feeder, building an “ant hill,” and germinating beans to watch them grow. Some of the other things that will be in the backpack include, paints, cotton balls, pipecleaners, twine, modeling clay, and a plastic petri dish.
With school out until fall, keeping up through summer learning is more important than ever. You can choose to increase your gift to receive two backpacks. We will send you both backpacks and you can choose where it goes, whether it is directly to someone you know or donated to a food bank, a library, a church, free school lunch program, or other entity.
