WPSU Campaign for Community

Be a part of something great! Support WPSU’s programming today and for the future this spring.

The Central and Northern PA communities are the heartbeat of WPSU. The people who live in the region inspire us to create and broadcast local content that celebrates the culture and sparks important conversations that make Central PA a great place to live and work.

Your support during WPSU’s Campaign for Community throughout May will help us to continue to enrich, shape and celebrate all that makes this place extraordinary.

What is WPSU’s Campaign for Community?

Campaign for Community is a series of events for our communities to come together to advocate, give and show gratitude for the local public media we all value and won’t find anywhere else.

Campaign for Community is WPSU’s way of participating in Public Media Giving Days where PBS and NPR stations across the country expand the conversation around the value of public media and the positive impact it has on the communities it serves.

So how can you get involved with WPSU Campaign for Community?

Come out to support WPSU at any or all of the events we have planned:

143 Day – Wednesday, May 22

Join WPSU in celebrating 143 (I love you) Day by spreading kindness and gratitude across Central Pa in honor of Fred Rogers, Pennsylvania’s most beloved neighbor. Whether through small gestures or grand acts, let’s demonstrate that each of is special, valued and enough.

As part our 143 Day initiative, the WPSU team will personal express gratitude to our donors who support our programming by reaching out by phone or sending heartfelt letter.

Post your act of kindness and gratitude to your social media accounts, tag @WPSU, and use the hashtag #143DayInPA and join the community as we create a ripple of positivity that echoes Fred Rogers’ timeliness of love and compassion.
