Arts: Cupcake Calamity Lesson Plan
Students explore their individual preferences and self-expression by creating cupcake art. After watching a video excerpt from the PBS KIDS series PINKALICIOUS & PETERRIFIC®, students consider how food is an art form and can be used to express their creativity. Using everyday craft materials, students make cupcake art that represents their tastes and unique preferences. Then they name and describe their creations and respond to each other’s work.
