Arts: Mirroring Dance
Dance major and Allegro Dance Project instructor Anna Benton studies dance and movement with a focus on somatic practices, or what she calls “dancing from the inside out.” In this activity, she leads students from early elementary through high school through how it feels to express a feeling through movement, and how to recognize how other people are feeling by practicing mirroring their movements.
