Chamber Music Society of Olean, NYThe three members of this ensemble are Lin He, Rintaro Wada, and Ritsuko Wada. They perform in the Chamber Music Concert Series the Wadas started in 2001 for the Olean, NY area as well as in concerts across the southern tier region of New York State.

Rintaro Wada and Ritsuko Wada were featured in the 2004 series of Allegheny Sounds.

Lin HeLin He, violin
Lin He was born in Shanghai, China and began his musical training at the age of five. Currently he is a Doctoral candidate at the Eastman School of Music. As a soloist and chamber musician, Mr. He has performed concertos with the Houghton Philharmonia, the Jiang Su Symphony, the Tuscarawas Philharmonic and the Wooster Symphony Orchestra.

Line He formerly taught at Hougton College as the Assistant Professor of Violin & Director of Strings. He was the Visiting Assistant Professor of Violin & Viola at the College of Wooster and was a teaching assistant at the Eastman School of Music and for James Lyon at Penn State University.

Mr. He was co-founder and member of the Melody Quartet at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, member of the Eastman Chamber Music Society and Serendipity String Quartet, and the violinist for the Wooster Piano Trio.


Rintaro WadaRintaro Wada, cello
Rintaro Wada studied in Rochester, NY and Japan earing a Master of Music in performance and literature from Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree and post-graduate diploma in cello performance from Showa College of Music. Mr. Wada currently teaches at Olean High School as orchestra teacher and is a cello instructor for Houghton College's "Greatbatch School of Music" and Alfred University.

Mr. Wada given solo, chamber, and orchestra performances in Japan, Italy, and the United States. He has performed as the principal cellist of the Southern Tier Symphony and as third chair cellist of the Western New York Chamber Orchestra. His chamber music group performances include the Alfred Piano Trio, Allegany Piano Trio, Serendipity Piano Trio, and W Piano Quartet.

Ritsuko WadaRitsuko Wada, piano
Ritsuko Wada was born in Japan and holds a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from Showa College of Music where she was a merit scholarship student studying with Japan's leading pianist, Takahiro Sonoda. She studied piano at the Respighi Summer Music Academy in Italy and Cahl Slue Conservatory in Germany.

Mrs. Wada began her teaching career in 1991 at the Yamaha Music School and has performed numerous recitals as a soloist, chamber musician, and accompanist in universities and churches. She was pianist in the Allegany Piano Trio, Serendipity Piano Trio and the W Piano Quartet.
