Castalia TrioThe Castalia Trio began performing together in 1991 and unites three peformers who maintain active solo careers. They perform frequently in the United States, and recent international tours have taken them to France, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and China. The name Castalia comes from a mythic fountain at the base of Mount Parnassus. It was said that if you drank the water from the fountain, Castalia would inspire poetry.

The musicians in the trio are violinist James Lyon, cellist Kim Cook and pianist Marylene Dosse.
